Toate gândurile și faptele noastre bune să le închinăm lui Dumnezeu, și să spunem că el ni le-a dat și că el le înfăptuiește, pentru că numele și ființa lui vor dăinui etern pe când ale noastre vor dispare în curând.
Să-i închinăm și să-i mărturisim lui nu numai gândurile, cuvintele și faptele noastre bune, dar și pe cele rele, pentru că pe cele bune el le va înmulți iar pe cele rele le va șterge.
Let us worship all our good thoughts and deeds to God, and say that he has given them to us and that he is doing them, because his name and being will last forever, while ours will soon disappear.
Let us worship and confess to him not only our good thoughts, words and deeds, but also our bad ones, because he will multiply the good ones and erase the bad ones.
